Earth Day Everyday is a new initiative from Friends of Pound Ridge, a non profit organization located in my hometown. We aspire to share ways on how to live a low waste lifestyle, not just on Earth Day, but everyday.
I worked with our small team to brand the initiative, design our website, and create all marketing materials to ensure it had a cohesive, recognizable look that would define the initiative.
The Work
Logo Design
In creating the logo, I wanted to create a fresh and clean look that felt traditional yet still contemporary to appeal to a wide audience in our town. We also wanted it to have an eco-friendly and green appeal without feeling cheesy or overdone.

Web Design
Following the style of the logo, I designed a comprehensive website from head to toe, including all graphics, content and layout, and I wrote many of the articles featured on the site as well.
Custom Compost Bin Design
One key element of our initiative is to get the community composting, so we created our own custom stainless steel compost bins to sell as a fundraising item for the initiative. I selected and sourced the bins, designed the stickers, and designed the custom paper note that comes with each one (that was printed on “seed” paper – if you plant it, wildflowers will grow!)
